This two-day intensive course will provide an extensive introduction to the identification and analysis of accidents associated with the functional safety of complex systems.

Led by two of Cobham Technical Services most experienced Safety Consultants, the course will explain the safety lifecycle, teach the techniques of Preliminary Hazard and Accident analysis (PHA) and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOPS) as well as the perception, assessment, management and regulation of risk. Analysis of system design including techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) will also be studied.

The course includes interactive workshops to help delegates identify with the subject matter and come away with an in-depth understanding of the principles of hazard and risk analysis.
