On-Line Shop Terms and Conditions of Sale

ERA Technology Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “Standard Terms”) shall apply to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions appearing on any customer order. The Standard Terms can be found at www.era.co.uk/terms-and-conditions-of-sale or a copy can be supplied on request.

Special Terms and Conditions

The Special Terms and Conditions set out below shall apply in addition to the Standard Terms referenced above. In the event of conflict the Special Terms and Conditions shall take precedence. Definitions set out in the above mentioned Standard Terms apply.

Conferences and Courses Terms and Conditions

  • Bookings made via the site are binding.
  • Booking forms received without payment are binding and are invoiced automatically. Payment must be made before attendance at the event and must be made in £ sterling only. Acceptable methods of payment are by cheque (payable to ERA Technology Ltd), credit card or bank transfer. Bank transfers, free of all charges, can be made to ERA Technology Ltd via: HSBC, The Boulevard, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 1UT; sort code: 40-18-22, account no. 22178095. When paying by bank transfer, please quote the relevant course, reference number, and the delegate and company name.
  • The preferential rate for AccessERA subscribers, or additional bookings (applicable to second and subsequent delegates from one organisation), may only be claimed at the time of booking.
  • Cancellations and transfers to a different course or conference must be sent via email or in writing to ERA to events@era.co.uk, or to the address found at the bottom on this webpage, FAO: Events. Cancellations and transfers received up to the 15th working day prior to the event will be subject to a charge of 20% of the invoiced course fee + VAT or 20% of the AccessERA credits charged. After this 15 day deadline transfers cannot be accepted and cancellations will be subject to payment in full or 100% of the AccessERA credits charged. Substitutions to the delegate attending can be made at any time upon notice to ERA.
  • If booking a conference, the fee paid includes a copy of the proceedings, lunch and refreshments.
  • If booking a course, the fee paid includes lecture notes, lunches and refreshments.
  • Delegates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. Joining instructions will be sent on receipt of your registration.
  • ERA reserves the right to change, postpone or cancel any part of its published programme due to unforeseen circumstances at short notice. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, ERA’s liability is limited to providing a full refund of the registration fee.
  • Publication Terms and Conditions

 Downloading the Document (if purchased in pdf format):

When a document is purchased using the secure payment gateway, Netbanx via the e-commerce site, an e-mail will be sent confirming that payment has been received and a link will be provided to download the document directly from the e-commerce site. The link to the document will remain valid for 7 days, and will allow up to 5 attempts to download the document. Should you experience problems in taking delivery of the document, please contact the Information Centre either by e-mail at info@era.co.uk, or via phone at +44 (0) 1372 367345.

Your purchase does not include the software or hardware required to read the document. The recommended minimum requirement is Adobe® Acrobat TM Reader Version 5.0 running on a suitable platform.

Copyright

The copyright in all publications vests in ERA Technology Limited or, in certain circumstances, third parties. Where copyright vests in a third party, the copyright owner will be acknowledged in the publications and ERA confirms that their consent to this distribution has been obtained.

Where purchased in pdf format, the following rights are granted to you as the Customer and user of the publication:

  • The Customer may store the pdf file for access only at a single site. The Customer is further licensed to make a copy on computer storage media for the purpose of backing up files in accordance with a formal backup / archive policy.
  • No further distribution of the publication in electronic or paper copies is permitted, including but not limited to: email, links to internet or intranet websites, on computers or portable storage media or in hard copy form.
  • The Customer may print and maintain one current working hard-copy of the publication for his / her own use. The printed copy must constitute the entire publication, including notices of copyright.

Where the publication is purchased in hard copy format, the Customer shall not make any copies.

Returns Policy

ERA will accept the return of any Goods incorrectly supplied and provide a full refund if the Goods are returned within 30 days of receipt. ERA is under no obligation to accept the return of Goods supplied correctly.
